Alex Augustin
COMMUNITY COMMUNICATIONS LEAD
Alex (he/him) is our Community Communications Lead. He has been a communications professional for several years, with previous roles in non-profit and other sectors. Alex is passionate about pluralising tone and messaging, delivering communications work that is relevant to communities who have been marginalised. During his time working at African Diaspora-led intergenerational org The Ubele Initiative, he developed his perspective on the meaning of community and allyship. He also writes and has held discussions about the psychological and emotional impact of structural harm in ‘the ends’ (inner city working class communities of colour).
