Alex Augustin
COMMUNITY COMMUNICATIONS LEAD
Alex (he/him) is our Community Communications Lead. He has been a communications professional for several years, with previous roles in non-profit and other sectors. Alex is dedicated to communications as a site of transformation, building a Community Communications practice as ‘a throughline to keep us mutually connected’. He also co-leads the Reimagining Masculinities programme.
Through his experiences of growing up in Brent, North West London, he has always had an awareness of injustice and inequality. Some of his main areas of interest are community-led politicised health & healing, (re)humanising narratives, community building, masculinities and ‘ends’ culture, which he explores through various forms of writing, discussion and creative facilitation.
