Dr Stephanie Davis (she/they) is Health Justice Researcher at Healing Justice London.
Stephanie’s work focuses on polycrisis, disability justice, spiritual activism and who we need to be for these times. She is interested in how we build our capacities for meeting the current moment – how we respond to denial, polarization and contradiction; generative approaches to conflict; and our connections to the more-than-human and the land.
She has a background in critical psychology, previously holding lectureships at Nottingham Trent University, University of Brighton and University of East London. She has organised around issues of sexual health, gender and sexual diversity, and police harassment and deaths in custody. In 2013 she co-founded Rainbow Noir, a social support and organising space for queer, trans, and intersex people of colour (QTIPOC) in Manchester.
She is the author of Breathing Spaces: Crisis, Denial, and Collective Care in the Age of Pandemics (2026) and Queer and Trans People of Colour in the UK: Possibilities for Intersectional Richness (Routledge, 2023).
She is committed to our full aliveness, and that we get free together.
