Ewa Jasiewicz

Ewa (she/her) is our National Movement Coordinator. Ewa has over 20 years experience of organising in social, economic, racial and climate justice movements in the UK and internationally. From direct action anti-fracking camps, mass anti capitalist street demonstrations and siege breaking flotillas to Gaza, to organising with Iraqi oil workers under occupation to stop oil privatisation, working with educators to end exclusions and police presence in schools, and community co-creation of alternative regeneration plans in Newham, her activism is focused on embodied solidarity and collective liberation with a global as well as local perspective.

Ewa has over a decade of trade union organising experience, building collective power and winning with workers in manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, agriculture, aviation, contract cleaning and education in London, the South East and North West of England.

Ewa is also a writer, film producer and trained Processwork facilitator. She is interested in popularising generative somatics as a strategy towards integrating movements.

Ewa loves dogs, making Palestinian-Polish fusion meals – sometimes with plantain, roaming about without a destination, travelling, sea swimming and snoozing.
